Master's Degree in Computing Science, with CISA, CGEIT, COBIT and ESMC certifications, Iván Orpí has 30 years of experience leading technology and business transformation projects, specially focused on the tourism sector, working for companies like Meliá Hotels, Hotelbeds, TUI or RIU Hotels.

He has led key design initiatives such as centralised PMS, corporate business intelligence solutions, integration and unification of disparate and decentralised information systems, etc. Now he's leading the transition from a monolithic set of systems to a distributed architecture at RIU Hotels. He resides in Mallorca, is married, and has one child.
